Whenever you change the settings in Yahoo, there is a final button to click that says Save Changes. You have to scroll down in the browser window to see it. I wonder if it's possible that you didn't click that button when you made the changes.

I have unsubscribed you from Step One, but would you go in and make the other changes the way you want?

Also, once you make the changes, it could take a couple days before you stop getting the emails. Usually it's sooner than that, but it can take longer.
