kids

Hi. I'm a therapist working with families. I have several clients who I "know" are sugar sensitive. One question I have is, why is a potato before bed not recommended for kids? Before I realized this, I told a mom to start giving her kids a potato with skins before bed. The kids were excited about it...do I need to tell her not to do this?

ALSO...I'm working with a family with a teenaged girl who experiences a major personality change before her period. She eats lots of sweets all the time, but reportedly only has mood difficulties with PMS. Could she be sugar sensitive even though her moods only change during this time?

Thank you so much...I appreciate any help with these matters...Joanna (jojok58@juno.com)
