I have been having a discussion with Kathleen about posting under an assumed name on the lists.

what is the best way to do this?

ie should I change my email address etc.

what about the people on the list? ie do people tell others or not (i am thinking about a geo list - where I have been to lunch and have met people in person).

I need to create some anonymity/confidentially so is it better to leave and just reappear?

do you have any advice to give (Kathleen suggested that I post about this here).
