Re: Search Function Trouble
In Response To: Search Function Trouble ()

Randi,
If I understand correctly, you are actually trying to search the messages in the Step 2 Yahoo group for these things, is that right?

The search function in Yahoo groups, to put it bluntly, doesn't work all that well. That might simply be the issue you are seeing. I would have suggested you put the search words in quotes like "Journaling Tips" but you may have done just that, seeing that you used quotes in your post. Even then, it would (ideally) only bring up posts where someone put the exact words "journaling tips". There may be a lot of tips in posts that don't have that sequence of words in the post.

And as I said, many people find search function in Yahoo groups messages less than optimal.

Frankly what I would do, is post something to the group about what you are looking for. This will start a conversation, allow people to be helpful, and allow others to learn from the conversation.

Wish I could give a better answer but I hope that helps a little.

: I'm sure many facets of both these

: Obviously, I don't have much forum

: I do know how to change the range

: Clear as mud?
