When people reply to a message, in most cases, the original message is in the repliers post. Sometimes people clear the old post away, though many find that having a copy of the previous post in the following messages provides context.

Is it possible this is what you're seeing? If so, there isn't any way to eliminate it. The trick is to just read the part of each person's email for what they wrote, and just ignore or scroll past the older post.
