Hi Lucinda. It sounds like the Multicity chat was not working properly on your computer. Would you please tell us what version of the Mac Operating system you have and what browser you are using?

Also try going to this link and tell us what it reports that you have for java

It should say something like: "We indicate you are using JDK release 1.1" but that number might not be 1.1.
