Anita, thanks for answering. I figured it out last night, and then dreamed last night that I had better come back here and say so. lol. Boy, talk about my dreams being about what's actually going on in my life! Anyway, I have 98se, and remembered that I could check for running programs in task manager. I checked end task on Aim, and then reinstalled it. So far, so good.
