Welcome, Denise! How cool that you've gained insight into what's happening. I remember what a relief it was when I finally figured it out.
If you're having a hard time with following all of the steps and are doing the program only intermittently, it might make sense for you to focus on each step and see if you can get it solid before you venture into detox territory - sounds like your body has been thrown for a loop a bit. I occasionally do a step review when I feel like things are a bit wobbly for me even though I've been following the program for a long time.
Do you know the four parts of breakfast? How solid are you on them?
