: Thank you Kathleen for answering my
: questions. Now I'm very curious
: about the working out and not
: losing weight connection. I know
: over training increases cortisol,
: but I thought 3-4 times a week was
: on the moderate end.
Yep, makes sense that you would think that.
There are a whole lot more variables in the mix like your age, your weight, your history,
and your history of eating. I can simply tell you that ss bodies do not operate on the standard calories, in calories burned model.
I'm going to
: sign up for some classes and
: finish reading Your Last Diet.
Do remember that it is an organic comunity so as we learn new things, they are presented orally and may not be in the books.
: When you suggest a protein shake
: in the morning before a workout is
: that alone with just water no
: fruit?
How something delicious...use fruit :)
I'll give that a try.
: The only supplements I'm taking is
: cod liver oil and L-Trytophan,
: which might help until I get to
: step 4.
I don't want to be a wet blanket, but honestly, I do not recommend taking L-tryptophan. It can easily overload your brain
which is something you do not want to do :). Just work on step one.
Your right, I'm almost
: done the nutritionist program and
: we never discussed the sugar
: sensitive individual. I was
: actually recommended your book
: from my nathuropathic doctor when
: I told her about my binge eating.
Bless her for that!
Use the resources of the community and you will learn lots!
warmly,
Kathleen
: Thanks again.
