Re: How much to eat when you have a cold?

I would eat as much as you can. Also try to drink plenty of water - I find it soothing to heat my water in the microwave when I am sick.

When I have a cold, some of my regular foods don't appeal to me, either, because the texture isn't right for my scratchy throat, or things have no taste because my sense of smell is off, so I tend to eat more soups, especially chicken soup. We add potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, mushrooms, kale, carrots etc to our chicken soup, and plenty of meat, so it really is a meal.
