I went and looked to see what SlimFast was doing these days. This is a new product.
The 20 grams of protein comes when it is added to 8 oz of milk. An actual scoop of the product is 12 grams.

here is what is in it...

whey protein isolate, soy protein isolate, sunflower oil, gum arabic, maltodextrin, cellulose gel, soy fiber, buttermilk powder, xanthan gum, potassium phosphate, sodium phosfate, dextrose, guar gum, salt, soy lethicin, artificial flavors, carrageenan, sucralose and some vitamins.

It says it has less than 1 gram of sugar. This is because they are using suralose and maltodextrin which technically is classified as a carb.

I would never, ever recommend this product. I will repost the artical I wrote about choosing a protein powder that can help you make a decision.
