pleased for you Rachel ! that's good noticing well done you.
I had to nod along with your saying noticing hungry/thirsty signals > Mine were so well suppressed I had no idea. My states of being were, hungry continuously, or over the cliff, and often both at the same time. I remember eating "by the clock" for a long, long time when I was working with step one two and three
So funny, I love getting hungry now. It feels all normal and satisfying. Its not that desperate thing I used to acknowledge as hunger. And , no "Hangry" that's the best bit
So what s happening with breakfast? Brown focus there, a happy event, so much scope. When I started, I was very rigid about it, scared to experiment. But then some browns turned out so much more satisfying ....or feeling stable..... than others. Became a particular fan of mashed sweet potato with butter in the winter, I recall. What do you choose? Is there anything you particularly thrive on?
