Maybe he thought they were plastic explosives disguised as vegetables.

: Last week I visited my family on the

: then waited for my bags to come
: through the scanner. Soon it
: became apparent that something was
: going on with my tote bag. A man
: took me and the bag to a table and
: began to search it. It turned out
: it was my vegetables! He tested
: inside the bag with some sort of
: strange wand and then let me go. I
: had a lot of fun texting people
: and telling them I had been
: detained because of suspicious
: vegetables. I said that maybe they
: were afraid I would force the
: other passengers to eat them.
