I woke up at 2 AM unable to fall back to sleep. Finally remembered about low blood sugar and had a small snack - a few almonds and 3 gluten-free crackers - and it was like magic. I fell promptly back to sleep, slept through the alarm and only woke up when DH turned on the light 20 minutes later.
