I like to knit in winter. I don't like to have to count, so I just tend to make scarves. A couple of years ago I discovered knitting looms and I've had a lot of fun learning how to do different stitches. I especially like the fact that as long as I anchor the last stitch, I don't have to worry about my knitting coming off the loom. I always worried about everything sliding off the knitting needles during transport with regular knitting.

: One day I will learn and start it in
: September or something instead of
: doing an intensive fortnight in
: December along with shops and
: cards etc
: Ive made some baubles and especially
: proud of them, bits for stockings,
: and some other tree decorations
: for friends
: Now my hands are itching for
: something else and as my work has
: been all secret squirrel, I am at
: a loss. If I stop all-of-a-sudden
: I might feel a bit slumpy and
: bereft.
: So I have an idea to knit a headband,
: one of those sort that is like
: earmuffs, as that will be gentle
: and a sort of unwinding activity,
: and I can do it while watching
: telly
: Particularly good for serotonin as
: well, a bit of knitting
