Hi Allison! Thank you for your message, it was encouraging! I didn't think I was putting too much pressure on myself to do it all right, but maybe I am because I've read the books and have kept trying to go on to other steps. But what I'm hearing from you and others is that, unlike previous trials of other 'diets' etc.-to take my time and relax until each step is natural!
Regarding breakfast, I've always eaten breakfast, just not always within one hour, until I read PnP. And it has made a great difference! My favorite current breakfast is one cup of cottage cheese with about one cup of defrosted (slightly warmed in the microwave) frozen blueberries and a handful of nuts. I know that nuts are a lot of calories so I kind of hate to put them on, but I know I need the protein, especially in the morning, so I just do it. And it's good! Good for me, too. So I make sure I get enough protein (I'm over 200 lbs, so I know I need at least 100 grams of protein). I used to measure protein but now I know how much one cup of cottage cheese is, etc. But do the blueberries count as the carb? So I try to eat about 30 grams of protein per meal and I always have a snack or two inbetween, usually one is almonds and fruit (apple or pear) and another is a cheese stick with grainy crackers.
Anyway, thanks for your support, and I enjoyed reading about your description of the quilting you do.
