Hi all,
I bought the recovery program book a year ago but I just picked it up this weekend. Perfect timing. I had already decided that for 2018 I wanted a new, slow paced approach to my sugar problem. Of course I’ve tried all the fast ways and they don’t stick. I wanted to try building a new habit each month. This program seems perfect for that. In January I gave up coffee, something I never thought I would do, but I thought if I could do that I was capable of giving up anything! Even sweets, and pasta. I’m scared that it won’t work like everything else but I’m willing to take time with the program and get there at my own pace. I already try to eat protein at most meals, so that doesn’t sound too hard, but I have to get more consistent. And I’m looking forward to my nightly potato!
First though, breakfast and journaling for February. I’m sure I will be around here for recipes and support.
