Adore bell peppers. always have at least six in the fridge Red, yellow or orange, green.. Usually I operate on the Law of Threes, but some things have to be double
I find the jar chilli too harsh, but am lucky to have loads of shops that sell proper chilli. I buy the fattest red ones as they are the mildest. Last night I made one of our staples, spatchcocked piri piri chicken with homemade marinade, four roasted red chillies in it - I took out the seeds- red vinegar and roasted garlic and olive oil, oregano, paprika... and it was just divine
On holiday we were served a salad which had two small raw green chillies as a garnish. I ate them both which made my eyes water a bit
