Re: Question: Timing of eating a potato before sleeping...

Thanks Allison... I see what you mean. Doesn't mean I need to backtrack as far as eating sugar again. I'm going to read some more and move forward.

: Cael,
: I also came to the program already
: off sugar. Because I wasn't really
: struggling and I felt better off
: of it, I didn't go back to eating
: it. But I really concentrated on
: the steps.

: So rather than working on the potato
: now, it would make sense to really
: concentrate on breakfast for a
: while, making sure it's really
: solid. Are you eating enough
: protein for your weight? Are you
: eating a complex carb like whole
: grain cereal, whole grain bread or
: potatoes with skins? Are you
: eating it within an hour of
: getting up? Are you doing this
: consistently every day? Do you
: have plans in place for unusual
: circumstances? It doesn't mean
: that you back track on anything
: else you are doing, but you put
: your energy on step 1. And then
: when that is really solid, you
: concentrate on step 2 etc.

: Step 3 took the longest for me. I had
: already cut out refined carbs and
: sugar before finding the program,
: but I spent a lot of time working
: on meal timing, planning, making
: sure to have the food I needed on
: hand etc., and exploring new kinds
: of browns, vegetables and protein.
