Hi
Janice,
Thank you for all your suggestions. I understand what you mean about trying to Target too many things at once. For now I will work on staying focused on breakfast.
: Hi Sally,
: How scary for you to go through that.
: You are in the right place to find
: healing. I remember feeling
: desperate and having a hard time
: focusing...doing the Radiant
: Recovery steps helps me so much!
: One thing I'm continually learning by
: doing the food is that putting my
: focus on one thing at a time is
: better in the long run than
: multitasking. And that where I put
: my energy is what grows.
: And on a purely practical level, if I
: put my focus and energy on one
: thing (breakfast) then I will
: master it and love it more quickly
: and move to the next step toward
: my goal than I would if I'm
: flittering around trying to do a
: little of this (step 2) and a
: little of that (step 3) and oh I
: can add a touch of something else
: (step 6) getting distracted from
: what I was trying to accomplish in
: the first place (step 1)
: So yes, this is an example from my
: own experience doing the steps
: And I'm also reminding myself
: of this lesson for the present day
:
: I'm so glad you are here in this
: place of recovery and glad to be
: sharing the journey And keep
: posting! Connecting makes all the
: difference in maintaining focus.
