I'm counting 7 grams of protein for 1 egg; 5 for 2 slices bacon; 8 for 2 slices whole grain bread. If I don't count protein in bacon and bread, then I need to consume more cottage cheese with my breakfast to get to 32 grams protein. By the way, I sprinkle a little brown sugar on my cottage cheese. Is that okay at this point since I'm not at step 6 yet?
Another subject: Exercise.
I had surgery in mid-December 2017 to reverse a colostomy I'd had 6 months earlier as part of cancer treatment.. At doctor's visit this week, surgeon released me to exercise on weight machines up to 20 pounds. (I do this at the YMCA.)Isn't this good?! I also walk on the indoor track there. Last week I went water-walking in the warm-water pool. We have a beautiful facility that is less than 2 miles from where I live! Sometimes my husband goes with me to walk on the track.

: One thing though - how many grams of
: protein are you calculating for
: your egg? 13.5 grams seems high
: for 1 egg and bacon, unless you
: are talking about British or
: Canadian bacon. American bacon is
: mostly fat. So before moving on,
: it would be a good idea to make
: sure the protein count is correct
: for your breakfast.
