Hi Donna.
7 grams is about right for a large egg. I find it works best if I don't count the protein in non-protein items like bread. I count meat, eggs, cheese and fish. If you were to scramble 2 eggs with about an ounce of cheese and your bacon, that would get you close to your goal, I think. (Was it 27 grams?)

I usually have three eggs with cheese and Canadian bacon, but if you aren't used to eating a big breakfast, 3 eggs might seem like a lot. You're making a good start, though.
