Hi Donna
I had serious sleep issues when I started the program. I would wake up in the night and worry about things and not get back to sleep. It did improve over the course of doing the program. I think the two things that helped were getting enough food to eat (I did not eat nearly enough before the program, and even now, if my blood sugar drops in the night, I wake up) and step 4.
Perimenopause can also cause sleep disturbances, but there are things you can do for that as well. I think, though, that you should experience an improvement from doing the steps.

: Hello everyone,
: I am here because I need some
: encouragement. My sleep is
: atrocious. I cannot usually sleep
: through the night. My thoughts and
: anxieties plague me. I wake up
: foggy, groggy, and feeling a deep
: all over fatigue. I read that the
: program will eventually help this.
: Can someone share your experience?
: I have tried the program a couple of
: times in the past and got hung up
: on step two. It is my intention to
: get through this time to be able
: to enjoy all the promised
: benefits. In the past I think one
: of my problems was trying to
: "go it alone". I am
: going to try something different
: this time.
: Please tell me that I can look
: forward to restful sleep and the
: clear headedness that comes with
: restorative sleep. I am feeling
: desperate.
: Donna
