Re: Wanting to hurry
In Response To: Wanting to hurry ()

Course you want to hurry Donna :h6) I think we all do ! But that's one of the points of step one, to learn to focus, to be mindful about it, exploring, oh, many things!

one of mine was the letting go a bit of rigidity, also learning flexibility, and to listen to others

I did hurry. Then I had to do it all a second time. I don't regret that at all, the first hurry taught me so much to enable me to do the second go, but I cant help feeling it would have taken less time overall if I had been ......... not actually slower, but focus perhaps is a good word............... in the first place. I missed so much of the developmental stuff, and my rewiring needed a little time

what helped ? Honestly, Forum. Posting every day. Its the connection. You may find a LOT of support on step one list too. I found reading about breakfast, joining in breakfast discussion, suggesting my best breakfast, listening to someone elses breakfast........... getting ideas for more unusual breakfasts........ you get the idea

Did timing make a difference for me? what happened if I ate within half hour? Did oats make me happy? What if I tried something outrageously new? was chilli for breakfast more satisfying? Did shake work? what was more convenient? what happened when I was visiting? Travelling? getting an early plane flight? What was portable?

Gets to be fun just appreciating where you are :h7)

looking forward to your breakfast news post :h10) :h12)
