Donna, when I travel I often deal with needing food before breakfast is being served. Some things I have taken with me: cheese sticks and yam cakes (only works if you have access to a cooler and ice or a fridge), whole grain crackers such as wasa crisps and peanut butter, or protein powder and a shaker bottle - you could buy individual serving containers of an alternative milk or mix it with water if you don't have a fridge. I find that if I eat something and then am not too active, I can make it to breakfast without a problem.

: Thank you. This does help. I am
: re-doing Step One and will have to
: consider this step. I am looking
: forward to week away from home.
: The last time I was on RR I would
: not have considered making
: adjustments for being away. My
: attitude was, oh well I will just
: have to take a break I guess. Not
: this time. I am trying to problem
: solve a way to get my breakfast
: protein in within the first hour
: when I am at the mercy of a
: program that does not serve
: breakfast until much later than
: that. I will be bringing my
: protein powder and a way to mix it
: so I can keep on track. Being off
: just is not appealing to me at
: this time. I do not wish to lose
: the ground I have gained so far.
