Hi Allison, I did suspect that the buckwheat wouldn't be on the protein count, so I'm going to try cooking it and see if I like it! I've got lots of chicken so will add that and some greens, probably green beans. Sometimes I get tired of meat and want to do non meat options, so tofu is one option. This being Friday, I am having the desire to be doing less prep in the kitchen and washing up afterward. I'm going to look in the fridge and pantry to line up a few simple meals for the weekend, then it's a no-brainer and I will be less tempted to wander off with my eating.
I found myself really craving sugar recently, and also wanting to eat between meals. I was driving home yesterday afternoon after doing taxes and stopped at my workplace (I'm a library director) instead of going right home, worked for about an hour, then went home. It bought me some time, so I was able to wait for suppertime. I have an inner two year old that sometimes needs distraction to stay out of trouble
