Re: Still Here
In Response To: Still Here ()

I agree, the program is a gift.
What has saved me many times when traveling etc is having a repertoire of good, portable snacks. Yam cakes, oat cakes, roasted almonds, cheese sticks, hard boiled eggs. When flying, I carry multiple meals with me for layovers etc.

It's good to hear from you.

: I've been *virtually* away - not
: posting for a long time, but am
: still here program-wise.

: Back in December my daughter came to
: visit from abroad for a few weeks
: with her hubby & baby
: granddaughters, and my
: food/timing/amounts suffered as a
: result.

: Any time someone comes to visit,
: especially with little ones, my
: food routine is affected.
: My body is very sensitive - needs
: what it needs, when it needs it.
: This has always been true for me, but
: especially after having had open
: heart surgery a year and a half
: ago.
: I'm like a baby - need the right
: food, in the right amount, at the
: right time.
: I do my best when company is here,
: but it's less than optimal.
: After that, it takes me a whole week
: - even more - of proper eating
: till I feel back to myself again.

: In a few days, I'll be going to visit
: my daughter in the States.
: Of course, she has stocked up on all
: the food I need, much of which she
: has in her pantry anyway.
: But still, the change in routine,
: plus jet-lag effect, will take its
: toll.

: What's so wonderful about this
: program is that there's no guess
: work involved.
: Such clear-cut steps of what to do to
: re-establish stability.
: It's a treasure box my body keeps
: inside itself.
: My cells know what I need to do.
: I listen to them, and do.
: The rest takes care of itself.

: This program is a true gift :h7)
