Protein

Hi, I have been following the protein way (32 grams per meal) since starting RR and wonder, is there a time when we taper off this amount of protein? Is it after Step 7? Eventually, I will lose weight, and would think adjusting protein comes with that. (By the way I am on step 3) I am finding that non meat sources of protein (I'm not vegetarian) require larger amounts of food and I feel "stuffed"- for example, yesterday I had 3 cups chopped salad for lunch with my protein in chickpeas and a little bacon, with 1/2 cup yogurt and 1/2 cup sweet potato following. I felt way too full and wasn't sure if I should stop eating when full. Sounds silly, but my fullness indicator is pretty wacky!
