You might try a shoe repair place, or if you have an actual luggage store near you that does repairs, they may have the proper equipment as well. One of our neighbors used to do luggage repair and he did zipper repair for me. But a shoe repair place will have a sewing machine that can do leather, and they probably replace zippers in leather goods like purses and boots.
