Cauliflower steak - a vegetarian recipe

I am very fond of cauliflower and choose it all sorts of different ways it is so versatile!

Tuesday, I tried this method and really Loved it. I didn't brown it first in a pan, just threw it all in the oven with seasoning sprinkled on top,( I did salt, black pepper, crushed cumin seeds olive oil , I thought the paprika might burn at a high heat in my oven as its a bit fierce so I left it ) turning it half way through

it went really nutty and the texture was amazing. I thought the slice was really attractive to the eye. I cooked it al dente and it was very very quick, I thought so easy to prepare hardly any work at all ! . I should think on a busy weeknight it would be a boon time wise

I didn't do the sauce but I will try it later as I just love lemon,garlic, pine nuts. I bet it would be nice with walnuts as well

I did mine as a vegetable accompaniment, wondering what could one do to bump the protein up for a vegetarian or vegan diner? I am wondering about tofu marinated in that sauce alongside the cauliflower ?
