: Every experience is good Sue ! so
: don't be too hard on yourself.
: just joining in and telling your
: story is an achievement too
: It will help other people I am
: sure!
: for instance, I was poodling along
: quite happily early on, and then I
: went on holiday. I found it so
: difficult. Thought I had lost the
: plot
: But ... things were learnt. I found
: what to look for, what to pack,
: what was best to prioritise for
: Me.....
: and I certainly reinforced what
: didn't work... which was just as
: useful information in the end
:
: I didn't get it right for the next
: holidays, but it was better. And
: these days off I go happy and
: confident. Each time a little
: learnt. And if theres a challenge,
: always something gained. Like how
: last year I learnt I ought to
: really read Spanish decaf coffee
: wrappers instead of presuming they
: had to be sugar free
: Same thing for relatives. Next time
: for instance, you might not choose
: to tell them what you are doing,
: but you will have the experience
: of how to get breakfast in, and
: the four parts, and what good
: phrases to use ( Like, oh I really
: love omelette for breakfast would
: you like me to treat you to one if
: I make it ? etc) The rest of it
: can look after itself
: Do stay in touch with forums and
: lists if you can. I have realised
: that the connection to others here
: really helps
: Did you get breakfast today ok ? what
: did you choose?
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. It's helping me put my slip up in perspective. And, it pushed me to sign up for the Step Two group. I bought a journal but just look at it and for some reason and having a very hard time starting. I think I need some baby steps to get rolling with this one.
I had a great breakfast this morning - eggs, sausage, a little cheese and a rice cake. Which I have never eaten before starting this program but find it a quick way to get my brown in at breakfast. Tomorrow - back to protein shake. I like to mix it up.
I will keep checking in with the forum... It's going to take a village to get me to the other side of this.
