: Thank you for your kind words
: everyone. After I posted my
: comment I realized I didn’t give
: any details about where I am in
: the steps! So sorry! When I found
: Kathleen’s book turns out I was
: already doing steps 1, 3, 5, and
: 6. I happened to be doing a 1 week
: sugar cleanse when the book
: arrived. I started the journal and
: did that for a week or so
: (journaling is something I’ve done
: off and on for years so it seemed
: a natural step). Then I started
: the vitamins and carbs at night
: (during this time I still hadn’t
: stopped my sugar cleanse, thinking
: I was far enough along in the
: process to just keep doing step 6
: and be ok - I started doing sugar
: cleanses - not eating sugar 1 day
: a week and 1 week 4 times a year)
: when I turned 50 - 2 years ago. I
: loved it and definitely saw my
: regular cleanses
: helping my body) Anyway, I know my
: journey hasn’t been the typical
: one, but I felt I would be ok.
: Truth is I have been using sugar
: to comfort myself for 40 years and
: I just don’t know what to do
: without it. I’ve always identified
: myself as having a sweet tooth,
: eating a tiny bit of a meal so I
: could have lots of room for
: dessert, etc...I didn’t realize
: how many foods have hidden sugars
: in them - that’s really what has
: sidelined me. I can no longer eat
: any of the ‘healthy’ foods my
: family eats and I don’t have time
: to make my own - we have kids with
: special needs that need a lot of
: my time. Needless to say I am a
: woman without an identity now and
: am still having cravings, which I
: thought would be gone after not
: having sugar for 6 weeks.
: Hope that helps. I would still love
: any suggestions from people who
: have begun step 6 and what their
: experiences have been.
Hey Dena.
Love that you are here!!!
Step 6 is. not a cleanse
Would you like to learn how to do the steps :)
Sure would be fun to start again from the beginning and
discover themiracle.
