Re: can we talk about the potato?

Hi Kathleen!
thanks so much for replying!
I'm not sure what makes you think I went to fast to the potato.
I have always always eaten breakfast with protein. If I don't,
I'm starving by 10a. I have always eaten protein with each meal
too, but I've actually upped my protein a bit and have stuck with
the three meals and one afternoon snack, which is a great improvement
as I usually snack all day. With the protein and cut the processed flour
and sugar out, I feel great and am rarely hungry between meals. The afternoon
stint can be tricky b/c I'm sitting at the computer all afternoon long.
I've been keeping a journal which is not new for me either. I always have
"counted" my food and I'm fairly good about journalling my feelings in a different
journal. Now I've just combined the two and am not counting anymore... but listening and trusting my body. The vitamins are easy as I already take them on a regular basis morning and night. I just added the zinc and vit c... already took a B complex. The sugar is not a problem as long as I stay away from it and don't relapse... which will then take me a few days to get back in the groove. So what do you think I'm missing? My original question was just about "dessert." Can I have a pc of fruit and some plain greek yogurt an hour after I have dinner? Then three hours later, have the potato? Or if it's only two hours later, is that fine? Sometimes I want that after dinner fruit and then I want to go to sleep an hour later. I feel like I"m missing my fruit. If I wasn't in binge mode before I started this, I would at least have a pc of fruit, bowl of berries, etc.
thanks!!!

Hi There,

: The science is in the book. :h11)

: I am thinking maybe you rushed to the

: the other steps.

: breakfast first?
