Hi Heather,
Mosaic is sleeping so I will chime in....
Hi Mosaic!
: I'm not sure why it seems like the
: automatic answer to a question
: is you need to go back and do the
: steps.
Actually we only say this when someone isn't
I've been doing the steps
: for months
: and months. I have an egg or two with
: sausage patty or turkey bacon with
: a pc of Ezekial bread.
Step one has 4 parts. One of which is haveing adequate protein for your weight,
and I know that an egg or two wouldn't qualify. So when someone come in and
tells us they have mastered this step but they haven't we always talk about it again.
I love this
: breakfast. Always have. I eat
: protein with every meal for sure.
: I have upped my protein a bit
: using the formula given in the
: book.
Step 3 is way more than protein at every meal. If you are using the formula in the book,
You would weigh about 36 pounds LOL. So something is amiss
I'm great at journaling.
: It's potato time.
We can respectfully disagree on this one
I have been
: doing it and I really do feel good
: the next day, but I'm asking about
: timing and could we have a pc of
: fruit instead and does it have to
: be three hours after the protein?
You can do whatever you want, Heather.
But I think you haven't read the book because you are asking how not to
do the program rather how to master it and its principles.
: Or if I decide to have a pc of
: fruit or a RR friendly dessert say
: an hour after dinner, if that
: doesn't have any protein, should I
: just assume that was my evening
: carb or should I eat the potato an
: hour later anyway?
Nope, that is not what we are doing.
And I was
: curious if anyone could share with
: me how they feel with the potato
: and without... is there a
: difference?
If you just do the potato without building on the other steps, it doesn't make a whole lot
of difference.
: thanks!
Well you sorta blew Mosaic off, and I have a hunch you might tell me you know better than I do as well.
You might just do whatever you want and see what happens. If you decide you want to make some changes,
give me a shout, and we can touch base on it.
Warmly,
Kathleen
