: Been travelling about the country
: recently and made a discovery of
: something else that would enhance
: my handbag supplies

: I usually do really well eating out,
: but this time - maybe it was
: different geography - I had a real
: challenge with salad dressings.
: Funnily enough though the protein
: options, which sometimes I add a
: little to, were perfect ! One
: place, all the vegetable options ,
: roasted vegetable, broccoli,
: mushrooms, the lot! - they had run
: out of !! we were in the
: middle of nowhere and they had no
: oil and vinegar, the French
: dressing was sugar laden. I chose
: some mayonnaise in the end, covert
: sugar but me and my journal are at
: ease with this when travelling . I
: think they were so amazed by my 20
: Questions they gave me
: complimentary salads and saved me
: £3.99 ! that was nice of them

: Another place, I was on my third bowl
: of salad before the light bulb
: went on that the blue cheese
: dressing was a bit moreish .
: Again, no oil/vinegar available.
: But I did realise it was the
: dressing I was after and not the
: cucumber

: Good enough was good enough though. I
: wrote it all in my journal and no
: repercussions, although I have got
: a bit " interested" in
: finding a blue cheese dressing
: that works for out and about. ( am
: still dreaming about it LOL) At
: home, I just do mayo, cheese and
: cider vinegar. Ive not been above
: taking a whole bottle of Paul
: Newmans Italian to local
: restaurants, but it is a bit much
: on a long trip

: as I write, am thinking, not such a
: bad idea to decant some Paul
: newman next time. It might keep
: pretty well for a couple of days
: unrefrigerated, better than blue
: cheese ? and exotic enough

: this looks like a very good excuse to
: go to Lakeland, - top kitchen
: gadget company - to see what
: leakproof containers I can look
: at. If you have any
: recommendations let me know
