nervous about travel

I have done some of these steps off and on for years. I turned 50 this year and decided to change some things.....namely, I wanted to get off the SSRI I've been on for almost 20 years. I have slowly been working down but plateaued for a couple months now at 7mg (had been at 10). In the meantime, I'm also starting to notice "the change" - hormones are a-changin'.

I've been particularly having a hard time as of late and we are about to leave for Ireland on Wednesday. This is my concern/worry. Breakfast gets really messed up when we travel by air and have to leave so dang early. I'm worried that I won't find the snacks/protein I need. I've started realizing that even though I'm on step 3 (not perfect but have been using my phone alarm to remind me to eat since I have reactive hypoglycemia), I've gotten a bit shaky lately on breakfast - especially on weekends and holidays where I'm not getting up and getting ready to go somewhere. The journal is going fine.

Also, the anxiety has been hitting hard for a bit. I know some of this is the transition off the SSRI. I've read Kathleen's books but wanted to know....did anyone else start out with having anxiety issues and once foods were steady notice that go away? Has anyone else transitioned off an SSRI?

Sorry, I've seemed to be "all over the place" with this email (just shows my anxiety, I think). Just needing some encouragement so I can enjoy this trip.
