In my opinion, step 3 is really the backbone of the program. It's good to get it really, really steady before doing step 6. You will be able to detox. If you have consistent, steady sugar, and pick something that is not super exciting as your sugar, you will be able to gradually reduce it. Many people totally lose interest in sugar as they do the steps, if they take things nice and slowly.
