Re: Coping with Chinese takeaway!

: I think the

: skill and humor we all acquire over
: time

very much so ! and how fascinating it can be along the way looking at the scenery. ( well - it was, after my step three when my scenery wasn't so dramatic :h6) )

I remember the whiterice , it seemed funny to me too as my view being it is all about finding what suits us individually

its also a great lesson for me Kathleen, because for me learning how to let go of the control of things is a huge deal. I am much more spontaneous than I used to be...…… and it goes through all areas of life, not just where my dinner is going to be.

Though I am proud I can go out with my girlfriends now without knowing where lunch is , that's taken me some years :h6) I still choose holidays online depending on the photographs of the breakfast buffet :h6) Well. it provides a great indicator for the rest of hotel :h9)

so sometimes I have a fine line between being very organised and being rigid, but as I am thinking back pre steps and in the beginning, everything was very rigid, regimented, tightly controlled ( yes fearful ) and learning that trust and flexibility is so very freeing. And learning slowly how to bless something and let it go ….. its a peace and relief

thanks Fiona you started me off with some takeaway food and left me counting blessings. And it has to be admitted, working some of my own Chinese wok creations into the menu, delicious , though I say so myself :h10) :h6)
