Re: Starting again

Hi Caroline
I think the best approach is to work on a step until you feel really steady with it, instead of trying to make it conform to a timetable. Setting goals is great, but I wouldn't want to rush things to meet a goal I had set. I find that it doesn't work well for me to add something new until I'm really comfortable with what I'm already doing. Also, step 1 will be easy for some people and harder for others, depending on whether they are used to eating breakfast already. I always ate breakfast soon after getting up, but just wasn't eating the right food, so it wasn't too hard for me, but other people aren't used to eating at all in the morning, and it will take them longer.

Have you tried joining the support groups for the steps? There's one for each of the first three steps, so you could start with the step 1 group. That way, you can talk with other people who are working on the same thing. To find the groups, hover your cursor over support, and click on groups.

: Thank you so much! Just a question
: how will I stay on track, is there
: something I can do so I don't slip
: away? Would you suggest aiming for
: one month doing step 1, then move
: to step 2. I did get to step 3
: last time. The problem is I start
: off very enthusiastically then
: somehow I manage just to drop off.
