Oh. this is so wise ... and sweet, really. I so do not react well to people giving me advice (big surprise), and of course the closer they are to me the more I react to it. And of course it's even more ridiculous because I'm sort of compulsively "helpful" myself. :) How really nice to hear that it can soften over time!
