Re: Complex Carbohydrates for breakfast

It's fine to have fruit at breakfast, but the complex carbs we are talking about are things like whole grain toast, whole train hot cereal, for instance oatmeal, or home fries with the skin still on the potato. I have a protein shake and use rolled oats for my complex carb. I also have fruit in my shake. I'm about to post a recipe for oat bars which would be a good complex carb at breakfast.
