Hi Bettyjane,
I am also just starting step one with 2 days of breakfast down. It IS very hard not to jump ahead and do all the steps at once. I am usually an "all-or-nothing" type of person. I have to force myself to just focus on breakfast and not beat myself up about how the rest of my food looks for the day: I am trying to trust the process based on the amazing results accounted by others who did one step at a time. One choice at a time.
I am thrilled to be here with like-minded people who understand my struggles. It is difficult to trust in myself that this will not be yet another failed attempt to recover from my sugar addiction. I am hopeful that this program will finally be the answer.
Have a week under my belt of program
: breakfasts. I love the George's
: Shake - two days I had it blended
: with a banana and today I had
: blueberries in it. I have used
: sprouted toast or oatmeal for my
: complex carb - it has gone very
: well. I find it hard to not forge
: ahead in the steps but I am not
: going to do that. I feel such
: relief in just having to do
: breakfast right now - Kathleen
: says there is magic in the steps
: and doing them slowly - as usual,
: she is 100% right.
