Greek yogurt or cheese work for me as proteins (but usually mixed with another protein source) but for me, milk and regular yogurt don't work well. Both also have a lot of natural sugars. I've found that cottage cheese and Greek yogurt are my best dairy proteins for breakfast, although these days I am using a combination of two protein powders in my shake.
