*Zinnias!
The zinnias I brought home in early June from my pot-a-plant volunteering at Phipps have taken off - I now have 3 giant flowering plants at the front of the plantings, overshadowing everything else in that flower bed. And I feel joy every time I see them. Which is quite frequently since the flowers are beside the driveway and on the way to the mailbox.
