: Hi everyone
: I’ve been reading about HSPs (highly
: sensitive people). I now know that
: I am SS (sugar sensitive) after
: finding PnP and so much is now
: making sense. I also think/know
: that I am an HSP. I just wondered
: if anyone else has found that they
: are highly sensitive and if there
: is often a link between the two?
: Thanks

hi Fiona
I read a book about it some time ago. Probably one and the same, only we have good focus on the food solutions and helpful strategies
must have read tens and tens of self help books, which were really unhelpful, didn't help me at all at the time, in fact really discouraging but I do find these days layering certain techniques on top of steady steps do suit me - positive appreciation sort of thing , which I realise I have always done lifelong anyway
thinking, joy dots might kind of fit into that category and I certainly see them help people here !
I haven't been able to change the sensitivity to things like perfumes, like KirAnn, so that still makes me grumble a bit I can smell a vitamin pill through cupboard doors ….. and don't set me off about air fresheners
I have a really acute sense of smell. I think that's another reason I love food so much. Combine that with a five star set of taste buds …..
other things though - biochemistry balancing I think turns them around into positives...…. its a great way of finding strengths, and is a much more 'magical' or fascinating way to live really. I wouldn't swap these days
