Hi Hatty, I think many of us have struggled with these feelings and totally understand. When I experienced what you are describing, I took Kathleen's advice and focused on step one, and it really helped. The amazing thing with this program is that when we focus on working each step, by the time we reach step six, the detox is a non-issue :h2) I found that totally amazing!

I've also tried vegetarian and vegan diets, my personal experience is that I notice that I feel much better when I have some of my protein from eggs/poultry/fish/meat sources. And for me, craving those proteins is very different from an addictive craving. These denser proteins help me heal biochemically.
