I really liked Lora's words in the newsletter about sweet foods looking like beautiful arts and crafts. That's a perfect description!
I went to a triathlon last weekend that was decorated so wonderfully, with all kinds of sweet touches like pumpkins, mums and pumpkin people. The feast we got afterwards was program friendly, too! Turkey, green beans, unsweetened squash, gluten free gravy, raw veggies-but wait, that's not my point--I'm just reliving the amazing meal.
What I wanted to mention was that the tables were covered with autumn colored decorations, little pumpkins and crookneck green squash, and Lindt chocolates in orange, white and brown wrappers. The chocolates seemed as inedible to me as the autumn leaves and ceramic pumpkins. It's truly amazing how that happens with this program!
And, since I'm writing about the triathlon, the food I ate after the swim was so easy and effective-I made little sweet potato zucchini muffins with walnuts, which I stuffed into my mouth when I got on the bike. So between those and my hearty breakfast protein shake, I had plenty of energy to bike and run without gels, goos, honey stingers, all that sugary stuff people eat.
LOVE THIS PROGRAM EVERY SINGLE DAY! Thank you Kathleen and all of you!
