Oof, this resonates with me too; I remember finding some letters home I wrote while in college a few years ago, and thinking where did this funny, joyful, life-loving girl go? I thought it was just a consequence of getting older ... but when you say "parts of me that got lost in my addiction," Angella, I feel that resonate deep inside me -- like striking a bell.
