I said to my husband the other day we sure are having fun with/in retirement. (I work part time and hubby is retired).
I know it is because I am healthy and doing the program and feel good. Feel comfortable going out meeting new people. I have energy to want to do fun activities.
This week in our town we are having Senior Games. It is so much fun to compete with others your age whose skill level is no better than your own but you laugh and enjoy each other.
So wish me luck to play Wii bowling, corn hole, Mexican train, hand and foot, chicken foot and miniature golf! Who knows maybe next year I will shoot basketball hoops and do shuffle board!!!!!
