We have little lunch coolers that have flat ice packs - one goes into a zipper pouch in the top, and the other goes into a zipper pouch in the bottom. You could even make up a shake the night before and put it in a cooler with ice packs so when you wake up, you don't even have to get out of bed and go to the kitchen. (These days, once one of us gets up and walks to the kitchen, the dogs all want breakfast. "We usually get breakfast at 5:30, and we know you're up, so let's get on with it!)
